Non-destructive testing (NDT) has always been core to our business and we invest significantly in this area to ensure we have an unrivalled capability with regards to qualified staff and state of the art equipment, thus ensure delivery of our products is at a world quality level.
Our examinations processes are all carried out using well documented and established procedures. Each procedure includes essential elements of recognised international standards that relate to each discipline. In-house we have a wealth of experienced inspectors and non-destructive examination operators.
All operators carrying out surface crack detection and volumetric method testing are trained and certified to internationally recognised standards such as ASNT/SNT-TC-1A and EN ISO 9712/PCN.
Knowledge and expertise of EN ISO 9712/PCN level III accredited technicians
Operators qualified to a minimum of level II ASNT/PCN – 7 MPI technicians, 14 DPI technicians, 5 radiography technicians, 7 UT technicians, 13 PMI operators
Capability to work with fully assembled components up to 100 tonne assembly weight
Identification of surface flaws prior and post machining and welding
Fully assembled components such as Main Stop Vales / Control Valves up to 100 tonne assembly weight

Axial Isolation & Control Valves are used in highly demanding applications where tight shut off, high reliability, fast opening / closing and precise control are desired.
